Everton’s Ademola Lookman was finally given a Premier League start by Marco Silva last night.

Ademola Lookman may have missed his big chance at Everton, after a rather mixed performance last night.
Lookman was finally handed his first Premier League start this season by Marco Silva against Newcastle United, but his performance did little to suggest that he must be a permanent inclusion in the Toffees’ line-up from now on.
Although Lookman did not have a bad game, he just didn’t do enough to really change Silva’s mind.
The Everton boss has always favoured Theo Walcott, and Lookman may now have to go back to sitting on the bench.
Everton were only able to pick up a 1-1 draw with Newcastle United at Goodison Park yesterday, with their attack not playing to its full potential.

Lookman showed sparks of quality, but he also proved why he hasn’t been in Everton’s starting line-up every week this term.
And Lookman may have to get used to going back to being an impact sub at Goodison Park again, after rather failing to seize his opportunity.
