Rangers could face former Ibrox boss Dick Advocaat next month.

Rangers take on Feyenoord in the Europa League next month, and it seems that a former Ibrox hero could be taking on Steven Gerrard.
The Gers beat Feyenoord 1-0 at Ibrox in last month’s Europa League clash, with Sheyi Ojo scoring the only goal of the game in the first half.
The return game in Rotterdam takes place in November, with Rangers facing what could be a pivotal trip to De Kuip, which is always an intimidating place to play.
Right now though, Feyenoord are in tatters. They were demolished 4-0 by bitter rivals Ajax on Sunday, and boss Jaap Stam resigned to bring an end to his short reign in charge.
Feyenoord must now look for a replacement, and just weeks out from their game with Rangers, they could be about to appoint a former Ibrox hero.
The Daily Record carry quotes from Dick Advocaat, who has admitted that he has been approached by Feyenoord about replacing Stam, but there is no agreement in place just yet.
“I’m not going to lie about it, I have been approached by Feyenoord,” said Advocaat. “There is no agreement yet. Feyenoord will make an announcement in due course,” he added.

Advocaat became Rangers manager way back in 1998, and actually twice raided Feyenoord during his time in charge of the Gers, signing Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Bert Konterman.
Advocaat won the domestic treble in his first season at Ibrox, a league and cup double in his second season and has been a club favourite since winning those trophies.
Now 72, Advocaat had a strong spell in charge of Utrecht last season, and may be hoping to beat Rangers next month if he does land his 24th managerial job in the coming days.
