West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react after a 55-second piece of footage was released showing what Reims striker Boulaye Dia can do.
Why does this concern West Ham?
Well, according to 90min, the Hammers are leading the race to sign the Senegal international.
It is also mentioned in that report that Newcastle were scouting him.
90min add that Premier League sides feel there is a realistic chance of signing Ligue 1 players in January, as the division’s £2.75 billion TV contract was terminated.
If West Ham do end up signing Dia, then it looks like they’ll be getting a fantastic forward.
The 24-year-old has scored an impressive 12 goals in 17 Ligue 1 outings this season, making him the joint-top scorer alongside Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.
90min understand that West Ham are in pole position to sign the Oyonnax-born striker, which should come as very exciting news to the Hammers supporters.
The 55-second footage shows Dia scoring a range of different finishes.
Specifically, the Reims No.11 looks to have really quick feet, and also appears to be a very confident finisher.
That latter point goes without saying in truth, as he’s matched one of Europe’s best players in Mbappe for goals this season.
