West Ham United are due to take on Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday evening.

Diafra Sakho could face the biggest match of his West Ham United career, if Slaven Bilic gives him the chance to impress against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Sakho appears to be playing for his future at the London Stadium, with his chances being very limited so far this season.
The Senegalese forward did score for West Ham against Swansea City, but he was left on the substitutes’ bench during their most recent match against Burnley.

However, Andy Carroll’s sending off in the contest, could provide Sakho with a chance to come into Bilic’s starting line-up.
The Croatian boss has the choice of bringing in Sakho, or starting with Javier Hernandez in the more advanced position, with Carroll suspended. And if Sakho is given the nod, it could be the most important match of his West Ham career.

With time now running out, it may be that Sakho simply has to impress against Brighton, if he is to break into Bilic’s starting line-up over the long-term.
