The controversial forward has spent 22 years at Aston Villa.

The Birmingham Mail has claimed that no club has expressed an interest in signing controversial Aston Villa forward Gabby Agbonlahor.
The 29-year-old striker has been with Aston Villa since the age of eight but his long-term future at the club hangs in the balance.
The three-time England international has been left out of Villa’s first three games of the season, and owner Dr Tony Xia revealed on Twitter last week that the long-serving Agbonlahor is allowed to leave on loan to re-prove himself after a number of incidents which saw his professionalism suffer.

But the Birmingham Mail report that there are “no takers” willing to sign the forward in a claim which will not shock many Aston Villa fans, given his conduct.
Agbonlahor – who scored one Premier League goal last term – has been rather unsuccessful on and off the field for Villa in the past few months.

He was investigated by the club twice toward the end of last season for separate incidents involving smoking a shisha pipe and inhaling laughing gas – the latter of which occurred on the same day Aston Villa’s relegation to the Championship was confirmed.
He is good enough for another Championship club, but his image has taken a big knock as a result of those incidents and moving him on – even on loan – may not be that simple.
