In December 2020, Leeds United were linked with Toulouse midfielder Kouadio Kone.

Italian news outlet TMW reported that Premier League club Leeds are competing with AC Milan for the 19-year-old midfielder.

It was reported that the French club were looking for €15 million (£13.57 million) as transfer fee for the teenager, as covered by HITC Sport here.

However, according to Gianlucadimarzio.com now, Toulouse are actually looking for €10 million (£9.05 million), which might still be a bit too much given that they are now playing in Ligue 2.

The report from the well-known and well-respected Italian journalist has claimed of Milan’s interest in the talented and promising youngster as well, adding that the Italian giants have offered €5 million (£4.52 million) for him.

Leeds United need to move now

It seems that Milan are very keen on Kone, and if Leeds are serious about the teenager, then they need to move quickly.

Kone is a very promising young midfielder who can only grow and develop in the coming years.

The French teenager has made 13 starts and four substitute appearances in Ligue 2 for Toulouse so far this season, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.
