Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City have been linked with James Maddison of Norwich City in the summer transfer window.

Farke has claimed that the 21-year-old attacking midfielder’s value is “unbelievably high”, and has suggested that he is not worried about losing him in the summer transfer window.
According to The Sun, Leicester, Tottenham, Manchester City and Huddersfield Town all are interested in the youngster, with the report adding that the Foxes would have to pay £17 million for him.

Farke told Eastern Daily Press about Maddison: “I am not naive. If Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain want to buy him there can be a solution but he has been outstanding. For me, one of the best players in the Championship.”
“His value is unbelievably high but it is not for me to talk about a sum,” added Farke. “That is a topic for the board and our sporting director.”

Tough to hold onto
Maddison is one of the best young players in the Championship and has been in good form so far this season.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder has scored 14 goals and provided eight assists in 37 Championship starts for Norwich so far this campaign.
From Farke’s comments, it seems that it could cost Tottenham a lot of money to sign Maddison, especially with other Premier League clubs reportedly interested.
However, given the attacking midfielder’s age and potential, it would be money well spent in the long run.
