Speaking on his YouTube channel, Rio Ferdinand has been full of praise for Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah after yet another jaw-dropping display this weekend against Chelsea.
The Egyptian has been arguably the best player in the Premier League this season, and on Sunday, he showed his former club Chelsea what they’re missing.
Salah scored yet another remarkable goal, he left Marcos Alonso looking like an amateur as he stopped and shimmied his way towards goal before firing past Edouard Mendy.
Ferdinand, just like the rest of us, was blown away by what he saw from Salah.
What’s Ferdinand said about Salah?
The Manchester United legend had nothing but good things to say about the Egyptian.
“He’s in my fantasy team so I was buzzing when he scored that. The way he stood Alonso up and just shimmied a bit. He pressed pause for a minute and then slapped it into the goal. He’s the most devastating player around at the moment, he’s so decisive. He gets two or three chances per game and he’s too hot to handle right now,” Ferdinand said.

Unstoppable
Mohamed Salah looks almost unstoppable at the moment.
Ferdinand says that he’s too hot to handle, and to be honest, he is.
The Egyptian is making a mug of even the Premier League’s best defences. He’s scored wonder goals against both Manchester City and Chelsea now this season, and that’s before we even begin to mention the hat-trick he netted against Manchester United.
Salah is in the form of his life, and we can only hope that continues once he returns from the African Cup of Nations.
