Rio Ferdinand has given his verdict on Liverpool and Egypt international forward Mohamed Salah.
The former Manchester United defender believes that Salah is going under the radar at the moment, just like Liverpool are.
So, what has Rio Ferdinand said about Liverpool and Mohamed Salah? Let’s take a look.
What’s the story?
Well, according to Rio Ferdinand, Mohamed Salah’s form and performances are going under the radar.
The former Manchester United and England international defender made the comments while reflecting on Liverpool’s win this past season.
Liverpool beat Brentford 3-0 at Anfield in the Premier League. Salah scored two goals for the Reds.

The Liverpool no. 11 has scored 10 goals and given four assists in 12 Premier League matches this season.
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has scored 13 goals and provided three assists in 12 Premier League games this campaign.
Ferdinand said on his YouTube channel: “Yeah, Liverpool have gone under the radar a little bit, but it’s because they were good for a couple of years, and then one year off, people expected them to come back.
“I think it’s a bit like Mo Salah. I think he has got the most goal involvement in the league this year after Erling Haaland, 14 he has got.
“He is expected to produce 30-goal-a-season seasons. That is part of it. He is a devastating player, by the way.”
Mohamed Salah key for Liverpool to beat Manchester City to title
I believe that Mohamed Salah is Liverpool’s most important player in their quest to beat Manchester City to the Premier League title this season.
In my opinion, City have the best squad in the Premier League. They have been the dominant force in English football for a number of years now.
In Erling Haaland, the Citizens have a world-class striker who is very clinical and scores goals even when he is not at his best.
Salah has developed into a goal machine for Liverpool over the years and does not get injured. Like Haaland, the former Chelsea player is also world class.
I believe that Salah will have to score the goals that Liverpool need to push City all the way in the Premier League title race this season.
Liverpool are second in the Premier League table with 27 points from 12 matches. Jurgen Klopp’s side are a point behind leaders and defending champions City.
