Tottenham Hotspur legend Micky Hazard has fired back at Mesut Ozil, after the Arsenal midfielder said that he would never sign for Jose Mourinho’s side.
In a Twitter question and answer session last night, Ozil said that he would rather retire than join Tottenham.
The answer may have been designed to win favour with Arsenal supporters.
But Hazard could not resist taking a dig at Ozil, after he posted a very sarcastic response on Twitter.
Ozil has repeatedly fired digs at Tottenham on social media throughout his time with Arsenal.
But it seems that he may have other rivalries to concentrate on in the near future as his time at the Emirates Stadium may be coming to an end.
Ozil has been linked with DC United and Fenerbahce in recent times (Daily Mail), and now looks closer to a move away from Arsenal than ever before.
