Ian Wright has said on Match of the Day on BBC One (August 27, 2022) that Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah will be disappointed that he could not score a single goal against Bournemouth at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Arsenal legend believes that Liverpool and Egypt international forward Salah would have loved to bag a goal against the Cherries.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool hammered Bournemouth 9-0 at Anfield in the Premier League yesterday.
Roberto Firmino scored two goals and gave three assists.
Salah could not score or provide an assist.
Ian Wright on Mohamed Salah for Liverpool v Bournemouth
Wright said about Salah on Match of the Day on BBC One (August 27, 2022): “Devastated. Nine goals, and you don’t get any. Come on, man.”

Disappointment
In our view, Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah will be really disappointed that he could not get on the scoresheet against Bournemouth.
The Egyptian did have chances, and if he had taken them, then he could have had two or three goals to his name.
We know how much Salah wants to score, and given that Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick for Manchester City in the Premier Leaue on Saturday, the Liverpool ace will be even more dejected because of the race for the Golden Boot award.
Salah is one of the best goalscorers in the world, and the Liverpool star will be keen on getting things right in the next game.
