Tim Sherwood has said on talkSPORT (9:16am, September 20, 2022) that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will have been “devastated” to see Son Heung-min score a hat-trick for Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will take on Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby after the international break.

The Premier League game will be held at the Emirates Stadium.

Former Tottenham manager Sherwood believes that Arsenal boss Arteta will have been “devastated” to see Son get back to form this past weekend.

Spurs hammered Leicester City 6-2 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League this past weekend.

South Korea international forward Son, who cost Tottenham £22 million in transfer fees (Guardian), came on as a substitute in the second half and scored a hat-trick.

It is very likely that Son will now start for Tottenham against Arsenal in the North London derby after the international break.

Sherwood said: “If you are Mikel, you are devastated to see him come off the bench and score a hat-trick because he is sure to play in that game.”

Exciting game

In our opinion, the North London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur after the international break will be massive and hugely entertainment.

Arsenal are doing extremely well at the moment, while Tottenham are going on about their business with confidence.

Both Arsenal and Spurs are aiming to finish in the Premier League top four this season, and they will go at each other right from the first minute.
