Tottenham Hotspur left-back Destiny Udogie has praised Brennan Johnson on Instagram after the match against Sheffield United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.

Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur got the better of Sheffield United 2-1 at home in the league yesterday.

Destiny Udogie was one of the best players for Spurs in the Premier League game.

Brennan Johnson, who joined Tottenham from Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window, did not start the match.

Praise for Tottenham Hotspur forward Brennan Johnson

Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou brought Johnson on as a substitute in the 80th minute.

And Udogie was impressed with the performance of the 22-year-old Wales international forward.

As you can see below, the Italian left-back has praised Johnson.

The youngster played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 100%, took 10 touches, and put in one cross.

Johnson had the ball in the net as well, but it was ruled out for offside.

The Wales international caused the United defence problems with his pace and movement.

Brennan Johnson could become a star for Tottenham Hotspur

In our view, Brennan Johnson could become a star for Tottenham Hotspur in the coming years.

The Wales international showed his quality after coming on as a substitute.

Johnson is a very versatile player who can play across the front-line.

And he is only 22.

Of course, Johnson will have to work hard in training to get into the team, but we believe that he will do just that.

Tottenham are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.

And, in our view, Johnson will play his role in that quest.
