Liverpool supporters have reacted to the rumours that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been put on the transfer market.
A selection of the Anfield faithful think ‘the Ox’ could be destined for West Ham if he does indeed leave Liverpool in the summer.
The Sunday World claim that Liverpool are willing to listen to offers for their versatile player, who has struggled with injuries in recent years.
Oxlade-Chamberlain started life at Anfield in a bright fashion in 2017, but a season-ending injury against Roma in 2018 has seen the 27-year-old stagnate on Merseyside.
That was mentioned by the Liverpool supporters who feel that it’s best he moved on when the transfer window re-opens.
One thing is for sure, Oxlade-Chamberlain has credit in the bank, so there will be suitors for the speedster’s signature.
He is an England international, he has Arsenal and Liverpool on his CV and he that European experience.
It doesn’t help Oxlade-Chamberlain’s cause that Liverpool are now a team in need of refreshing after an injury-hit campaign that has seen Jurgen Klopp’s men take blow after blow on the field of play.
