Leeds United central defender Charlie Cresswell signed a new contract only this month, but there is already speculation that he could leave Elland Road.
According to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 59, August 6, 2023), VfB Stuttgart and Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in signing Charlie Cresswell from Leeds United in the summer transfer window.
The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Stuttgart and Frankfurt could try to sign Cresswell on loan from Leeds if he does not start regularly in the first team.
Leeds announced on the club’s official website on August 1, 2023, that Cresswell has signed a new contract with the West Yorkshire club.
The 20-year-old England Under-21 international centre-back put pen to paper on a new four-year deal that will see him stay at Elland Road until the summer of 2027.
Charlie Cresswell is unlikely to leave Leeds United anytime soon
In our opinion, Charlie Cresswell is unlikely to leave Leeds United anytime soon.
There is no way that Leeds will sanction a loan exit for the defender in the final weeks of the summer transfer window.

After all, the 20-year-old centre-back has only just signed a new deal.
And Leeds are aiming to win automatic promotion from the Championship to the Premier League.
Leeds manager Daniel Farke needs to have a big squad and have options in all departments for a successful season.
The January transfer window is too far away to speculate whether or not Leeds could sanction a loan exit for the English youngster then.
Cresswell has made five appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
