Michael Owen has said on Premier League Production that Dele Alli will be disappointed that the goal that Tottenham Hotspur scored last night was not his.
Tottenham got the better of Fulham 1-0 away from home at Craven Cottage in London in the Premier League on Thursday evening.
An own goal from Tosin Adarabioyo in the 19th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides in the London derby.
Alli was the architect of the goal, as the England international midfielder fed the ball wide to Son Heung-min before meeting his low cross which was turned in by Adarabioyo.
Former Liverpool striker Owen believes that the 24-year-old midfielder will be disappointed not to score.
Owen said on Premier League Production: “Just going wide. He will be desperately disappointed, Dele Alli, he would, back with a bang, that would have been, wouldn’t it?”
