Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele’s agent is now holding talks with Napoli.
Mousa Dembele’s plans could not be any clearer this summer.
The midfielder has just one year left on his contract at Tottenham, and his agent is now trying his best to land a lucrative offer.
If Dembele’s desire was to stay at Spurs, these offers would not even be entertained, and he would have signed up already.
All three of the clubs meeting with Dembele’s agent can offer him Champions League football, meaning a move would not feel like a downgrade for the midfielder despite leaving Spurs being somewhat of a gamble.
Dembele is with Belgium for the World Cup and his future is expected to be decided after the tournament.
Yet in the mean time, talks are laying the groundwork for a transfer, and if a side can meet Tottenham’s asking price, Dembele appears ready to walk away.
For Tottenham, the time is coming to try and find a replacement.
