Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has been linked with West Bromwich Albion.

Former West Bromwich Albion midfielder Derek McInnes is doing a wonderful job at Aberdeen at the moment, and there is no surprise that he has been linked with the managerial role at The Hawthorns.
According to The Sun, McInnes is one of the candidates to become the new West Brom manager in the summer of 2018.
The Baggies look set to go down to the Championship from the Premier League at the end of the season.

McInnes may not have made a great impact at Bristol City, but the 46-year-old former Scotland international midfielder did a great job at St Johnstone and has been a huge success since his appointment as the Aberdeen manager back in 2013.
The former Rangers and West Brom midfielder is happy at Aberdeen, and is quoted as saying by The Birmingham Mail when asked about speculation linking him with West Brom: “I’ve been linked often enough now. My job is here and I’m enjoying it.”

Staying at Aberdeen
West Brom could struggle to finish in the top six of the Championship next season, and there could be a squad overhaul in the summer at The Hawthorns.
McInnes is at a stable club at the moment, and leaving a secure job at Aberdeen for the Baggies in the summer would not be a great idea.
