Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers reportedly want Graeme Shinnie, and so do Neil Lennon’s Celtic.

Graeme Shinnie of Aberdeen strikes on goal during the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Aberdeen and Motherwell at Pittodrie Stadium on April 3, 2019 in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has suggested to The Daily Record that Graeme Shinnie has yet to make a decision on his future, and that will encourage Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers and Neil Lennon’s Celtic.

According to The Bristol Post, Rangers, Celtic and Bristol City all are interested in signing Shinnie in the summer transfer window.

Derby County manager Frank Lampard recently revealed to The Derby Telegraph his interested in signing the 27-year-old – who can operate as a left-back or as a central midfielder and out of contract at Aberdeen at the end of the season.

Aberdeen manager McInnes has said that he has spoken to Lampard over the Scotland international, and he has also suggested that the 27-year-old has yet to make a decision on his future.

That should be encouraging for Celtic and Rangers, as there is still a very good chance that the Hoops or the Gers could convince the experienced midfielder to join them this summer.

McInnes told The Daily Record: “I’ve spoken to Frank Lampard a couple of times over the last couple of weeks but Shinnie still has a decision to make and we’re no further forward.”
