Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers will face Dundee at Ibrox. Should Gers star Ross McCrorie start?

Rangers will return to action in a few hours’ time when they take on Dundee at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership.
Graeme Murty’s side’s next game will be against Old Firm rivals Celtic in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.
Rangers legend Johnstone has urged manager Murty to include McCrorie in the Gers’ starting lineup against Dundee if he is to feature against Celtic next weekend.

Johnstone wrote in The Glasgow Evening Times: “I was pleased to see Ross McCrorie back in the squad for the draw at Motherwell and if he is to be involved against Celtic then he has to feature in the game with Dundee.”
“If he doesn’t start against Dundee, there is surely no way he can start in the semi-final at Hampden next weekend,” added Johnstone.
“I would like to think that if everyone is fit then McCrorie is in the starting line-up. So he has to feature at Ibrox.”

Good idea
McCrorie is just returning from a long-term injury, and it would be wise of manager Murty to give him some playing time against Dundee.
Rangers are a much better team than Dundee, and the Gers should be able to win with relative ease at Ibrox.
The 20-year-old is a very versatile footballer who can operate as a defender or as a midfielder, and he needs some playing time before he can feature against Celtic.
McCrorie has made 16 appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers so far this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process, according to Transfermarkt.com.
