Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers signed the 23-year-old ahead of schedule last month.

Derek Johnstone has admitted to The Glasgow Evening Times that he was wrong about ‘outstanding’ Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara.
Kamara signed a pre-contract agreement with Rangers to join at the end of the season, but the Gers paid £50,000 [The Record] to buy him outright last month instead.
The 23-year-old has been a revelation in his only two games under Steven Gerrard so far, and dazzled in the midweek drubbing of Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup.
Johnstone admits that he wasn’t crazy about the idea of bringing the former Dundee star to Ibrox ahead of schedule, but concedes that he’s worth every penny of what Rangers spent.
He told The Glasgow Evening Times: “I have to admit that I wasn’t all for Rangers paying Dundee £50,000 to do a deal for Glen Kamara before the end of the January transfer window.
“Having already signed him on a pre-contract, I thought he should finish the season at Dens Park and then move for free to Rangers in the summer.
“But I have been really impressed with him in his two performances against St Johnstone and Kilmarnock and I thought he was outstanding the other night at Ibrox. He certainly looks worth the outlay. I was wrong.”
Kamara was given the nod ahead of Ross McCrorie in midweek and it looks probable that Gerrard will do the same for tomorrow’s Premiership clash with Hamilton.
McCrorie, a Rangers product, is very popular among the Ibrox faithful, but the former Arsenal youth looks on a different level as far as ability goes thus far and Gerrard, a midfielder himself once upon a time, will appreciate his talent.
