Pedro Caixinha’s Glasgow Rangers were quite busy in the summer transfer window and brought a number of players to Ibrox.

The 63-year-old Rangers legend has stated that the Glasgow giants are a bit short in the centre-forward department.
“I said in this column a couple of weeks ago that I would like to see Rangers bring another striker in before the end of the transfer window,” Johnstone wrote in The Glasgow Evening Times. “That didn’t happen, though.
“I think we are a bit short when it comes to a centre-forward but Pedro Caixinha clearly has faith in the players that he has got in that area of the side.
“So he will go with Kenny Miller, Alfredo Morelos and Eduardo Herrera as his main options this season, and will hope that Ryan Hardie can make the step up as well
“I was looking for an out and out striker to come into the team, and I am sure a lot of Rangers fans were as well.
“But we will go with what we have got now. Pedro said a couple of weeks ago that he was happy with his options.”

Rangers made a number of signings in the summer transfer window, and although signing an out-and-out striker would have been nice, the Gers do seem to have enough in that department.
Kenny Miller may be 37 years of age, the former Celtic man is still one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership.
The Scotsman is a proven goalscorer, and although manager Pedro Caixinha cannot rely on him to play in each and every game, his importance in big games and during tight matches will be key.

There are other players in the Rangers attack who could prove to be valuable players in terms of scoring goals.
Among the players Rangers signed in the summer transfer window are Bruno Alves, Ryan Jack and Graham Dorrans.
