The Glasgow Rangers youngster was the first player to sign for the Ibrox club in the summer.
Derek Johnstone has told The Glasgow Evening Times that he does not believe Jordan Rossiter will start for Rangers at Inverness on Friday night.
The 19-year-old midfielder has been out of action since the end of August with a calf injury.

But the ex-Liverpool man, who signed a four-year deal with Rangers in the summer, is expected to be named in the matchday squad when the Gers travel to Caley Thistle.
And although Johnstone is happy to see him back, the former Ibrox man does not believe the Liverpudlian lad will start tomorrow night.
“Jordan Rossiter has been out for a while and I don’t see him starting the game but it is good to have him back in the squad,” he told The Glasgow Evening Times.

“He adds further quality to an area of the side that is strong and Mark has difficult decisions to make with the likes of Halliday, Holt, Kranjcar, Windass and Forrester all capable of starting and playing well.”
If Rossiter gets a run of games under his belt then he could be a big player for Rangers this season.
Having only managed four Premiership outings, the fans have not seen enough of him to form any sort of opinion as of yet, but his performances at Liverpool in the Europa League last season might suggest that he is a very fine young talent and it will be interesting to see how he does in the coming weeks and months.
