Ferguson, who started his professional club football career at Rangers, has been impressed with the performances of Kent, who joined Steven Gerrard’s side on loan from Premier League club Liverpool in the summer of 2018.
The former Scotland international believes that the 22-year-old winger is a classy player, and that he is someone one would like to go and watch.
Ferguson said on Open Goal about Kent: “He is a classy player, isn’t he? He is a player that you would like to go and watch because you give him the ball, he makes things happen, he gets past people.”

Kent has been one of the best players for Rangers this season and is playing well for the Gers at the moment.
According to WhoScored, the 22-year-old has made 17 starts and two substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers so far this season, scoring five goals in the process.

Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 58 points from 28 matches, as many as eight points behind leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic.
The Gers will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Aberdeen away from home in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals.
