Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers reportedly want Uche Ikpeazu, and so do Neil Lennon’s Celtic.

According to a report in The Sun earlier this month, Old Firm rivals Celtic and Rangers are interested in signing Heart of Midlothian forward Ikpeazu in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Rangers and Neil Lennon’s Celtic are tracking the 24-year-old forward.
Ikpeazu has made 11 starts and two substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Hearts so far this season, scoring two goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
Former Rangers and Hearts midfielder Ferguson has suggested that the 24-year-old English forward is not good enough for the Hoops or for the Gers.
Ferguson said about Ikpeazu on Open Goal: “What he has is he is handful. Trying not to be disrespectful to the big fella, what he is good at is he ruffles a few of them up.”
Ferguson added: “He has his strength, but has he got the quality for Celtic and maybe Rangers? I am not so sure.”

Moving on
Ikpeazu is a good football, but the 24-year-old is not very prolific, and it does not make much sense for Celtic or Rangers to sign the forward.
Both Celtic and Rangers can get better and more proven forwards than Ikpeazu if they dig deep and scout further afield than just Scotland.
