Steven Gerrard’s Alfredo Morelos is a very important player for Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club.

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership, but the Ibrox star is also a controversial figure.
Morelos has been superb for Rangers since he moved to the Gers in the summer of 2017 and is the number one striker at the Gers.
The 22-year-old Colombia international striker scored 14 goals in the Scottish Premiership last season, and so far this campaign, the youngster has scored 15 goals in 23 league appearances for Rangers, according to WhoScored.
Morelos, though, also makes the headlines for the wrong reasons, as he is doing this week.
The striker was sent off against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday, although Rangers have decided to appeal against the red card, as reported on BBC Sport.
Former Rangers midfielder Derek Ferguson, though, seems to rate Morelos highly, and believes that the striker is different class when it comes to instinctive finishes.

“If he gets time, he misses chances, but when he’s instinctive, he is different class,” Ferguson said about Morelos on Open Goal.
Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 51 points from 25 matches, six points behind leaders and bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic.
