The Rams loanee impressed during his season-long stint at Pride Park from Chelsea.

Derby County loanee Fikayo Tomori has posted an emotional farewell message to the Rams fanbase as he prepares to head back to parent club Chelsea following the conclusion of the 2018-19 season.
The 21-year-old joined the Pride Park outfit in August 2018 on a season-long loan and he was thoroughly impressive for Frank Lampard’s side, going on to be voted Rams player of the year by the club’s supporters (official Derby website).
Tomori made 55 appearances in all competitions for Derby (Transfermarkt) as they claimed some notable scalps in the cup competitions – Manchester United in the Carabao Cup and Southampton in the FA Cup – and made it all the way to the Championship playoff final.

Tomori, whose Chelsea contract runs to June 2021, came through the ranks at Stamford Bridge and has made one senior appearance for the Blues to date, playing 30 minutes in the 1-1 draw with Leicester City in May 2016 according to Transfermarkt.
