The Rams midfielder is now tied to the Championship club until 2020.

Derby County have announced that midfielder Tom Huddlestone has extended his stay with the Championship club until the end of next season.
The 32-year-old’s contract included an option to extend by a further 12 months, based on appearances, and the clause within his contract has now been triggered.
Huddlestone, who came through the ranks at Derby and made his debut for them at the age of 16 in August 2003, rejoined the East Midlanders in 2017.
He brought his first stint to an end in 2005 when he moved to Tottenham Hotspur but, after eight years with Spurs and four years with Hull City, returned to Pride Park.
Huddlestone played 47 times in all competitions last season and has made 26 appearances under Frank Lampard this term.
Derby announced the news on their website and on their social media channels:
Here is how some Rams faithful reacted to the news, with a fairly even mix of happiness and disappointment:
The Nottingham-born midfielder has made more than 500 club appearances over his career, including more than 150 apiece for Derby, Hull and Spurs, plus 13 on loan at Wolves, according to Transfermarkt.
