The Rams attacker had a largely fruitless stint at Pride Park and has now left permanently.

A number of Derby County fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the Rams announcing that Nick Blackman has left Pride Park to join Maccabi Tel Aviv on a permanent transfer (official Derby website).
The Israeli club had confirmed the move at their end a few days ago but Derby made the announcement their end on Thursday, confirming that international clearance had finally been provided by the Football Association in order for the 29-year-old attacker to be registered with his new club.
Blackman had been on Derby’s books since the summer of 2016, when he joined from Reading for a reported £3million (Transfermarkt), but his time at the East Midlands club has been anything but fruitful, with just one goal from 29 appearances for them.
Prior to his permanent move, the attacker had not played for the Rams for two years, spending the 2017-18 campaign on loan at Maccabi Tel Aviv – arguably the best full season of his career, netting 10 goals in 31 games.

The season just gone, meanwhile, was spent at Spanish Segunda Division outfit Sporting Gijon, an injury-affected campaign in which Blackman made 17 appearances and scored twice.
Here is what some of the Derby faithful made of Blackman leaving Pride Park permanently:
