The Rams full-back has been linked with Scottish trio Glasgow Rangers, Celtic and Aberdeen.

A number of Derby County fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on Max Lowe announcing his intention to establish himself in the Championship club’s first team, as reported by their official website.
The 22-year-old left-back spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan with Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen, during which he helped the Dons reach the Scottish League Cup final, and made 42 appearances for them in all competitions (Transfermarkt).
Lowe’s exploits at Aberdeen earned him the Players’ Player of the Season, which was voted for in a private ballot among his Dons teammates, and after picking up the award he described his time at the club as “the best dressing room I’ve been a part of” (Derby Telegraph).
The player’s future has been the subject of speculation in recent months, with Old Firm rivals Celtic and Rangers reported by the Daily Express as being interested in his services as well as the Pittodrie side.
Lowe’s comments to the official Derby website, however, seem to suggest that he sees his future south of the border and at the club where he came through the ranks.
“I want to get back in that Derby shirt, ideally,” Lowe told the Rams media team. “I’ve been away for the season for the first time, a long time away from home for me so hopefully I can be back here for this season, try and get some more games under my belt – I’m at an age now where i need to kick on and play as many games as I can.”
Here is how some of the Pride Park faithful reacted to his comments on the social media platform:
Lowe will be hoping to impress new Derby manager Phillip Cocu in pre-season ahead of the new Championship campaign getting underway with a trip to Huddersfield Town on the opening day.
