Some Rams fans have laid into the entire back four following their 3-1 loss at Bramall Lane, a display fraught with defensive issues.

However, Frank Lampard’s charges equalised in the 53rd minute through Liverpool loanee Harry Wilson, who showed his class once again with a 25-yard free kick.
Despite drawing level, Derby’s defence once again let the team down when John Fleck’s header over the top allowed David McGoldrick to race clear and dink the ball over Carson.
The Blades then extended their advantage and killed off the game six minutes from time through Leon Clarke’s close-range header.
Derby’s display – particularly that of the defence – was deemed inadequate by some Rams fans, who vented their feelings on Twitter at full time:
