Two sets of Derby County supporters are sharing contrasting opinions on one Rams player after Monday’s 0-0 draw against Nottingham Forest.

Tom Lawrence, the £6 million Derby winger, has scored four goals from 15 starts for the Rams this season.

But the jury remains out on the 24-year-old, who was making his fourth consecutive start in last night’s East Midlands derby.

This is what some Derby fans are saying on Twitter…

And here’s the view from the rest of them…

The Derby manager, Frank Lampard, felt his side should have had a penalty after Lawrence was felled in the box by Tendayi Darikwa, but it was Nottingham Forest who came closest to winning the game through Joe Lolley’s strike, which struck the crossbar.

Despite having failed to beat Forest, the Rams moved up to fourth in the Championship courtesy of Monday’s draw – and remain three points ahead of their seventh-place rivals.
