Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa produced a remarkable presentation that explained the work that he did before the clash with Derby County.
Plenty of Derby fans have taken to Twitter to react to Marcelo Bielsa’s presentation which saw the Leeds boss respond to the ‘Spygate’ controversy by explaining the work that they did on the Rams before facing Frank Lampard’s men on Friday.
Leeds’ 2-0 victory was somewhat overshadowed by the news that the Championship leaders had sent an employee to Derby’s training ground ahead of the game.
Bielsa’s actions have divided opinion amongst the football world. Many feel that he has stepped across the line, while some have suggested some incredibly harsh punishments should come Leeds’ way. It must be mentioned that plenty also believe that too much has been made of a tactic that is seemingly not as new to the English game as some would have you believe.
In response to the controversy, Bielsa called a press conference on Wednesday and went on to produce an incredible presentation where he explained all of the work that he and his team do in the build-up to a game, with Derby acting as his case study.
As reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, Bielsa went into great detail about the Rams’ tactics. And that has attracted something of a mixed response from the Derby supporters on social media.
Some have slammed the Leeds boss. But others have actually expressed some admiration for how meticulous Bielsa has been, and joked that they do not expect to win another game now that he has done much of their opponents’ research for them.
