Derby County are reportedly keen on Birmingham City striker Che Adams, and he justified that interest in the Blues’ Carabao Cup game.
Derby County fans have been reacting on Twitter after reported transfer target Che Adams bagged a hat-trick in Birmingham City’s Carabao Cup win over Crawley.
HITC Sport reported yesterday that the Rams had made a bid for Adams as former Blues boss Gary Rowett attempts to bolster his attacking options at Pride Park.

However, HITC Sport also suggested that Birmingham want to keep the 21-year-old – who Rowett brought to St Andrew’s one year ago – and are planning to open contract talks with the forward.
And the reason why they want to keep the youngster at the club was highlighted in the League Cup clash Harry Redknapp’s men contested on Tuesday night as Adams scored a treble in the 5-1 victory over Harry Kewell’s side.
Unsurprisingly therefore, the Derby supporters who took to social media were keen to discuss the rumours in the wake of his hat-trick, and it is safe to say that many have become a lot more pessimistic about their chances of landing the former Sheffield United man.
The Rams fans fear that, despite scoring against lower league opposition, Adams’ price has probably risen considerably following the win, while others, perhaps optimistically, are hoping that Adams has brought the curtain down on his Birmingham career in the perfect manner.

Here is the best of the reaction…
