The Rams failed to make the breakthrough against the Swans at Pride Park, Martyn Waghorn missing a first-half penalty.

Derby County striker Martyn Waghorn has taken to social media with his thoughts on Saturday’s Championship stalemate with Swansea City at Pride Park, with some Rams fans responding to him on Twitter.
The Rams remain unbeaten in their two league games so far this season following Monday’s 2-1 win at Huddersfield Town but it was still a frustrating day in which Phillip Cocu’s charges could not find a breakthrough.
Shortly before half time, Jayden Bogle went down under the challenge of Jake Bidwell in the Swans box for a penalty, but Waghorn’s spot kick was kept out by Freddie Woodman, who dived low to his left.
Derby continued to search for a winner but Swansea managed to hold on to leave the East Midlands with a point and leave the hosts rueing the afternoon’s events, with Waghorn in particular feeling disappointed.
Fan reaction to Waghorn tweet was mostly positive as many supporters urged him to dust himself off and go again next match:
Derby have two away games on the bounce next week as they travel to Scunthorpe United in the first round of the Carabao Cup before heading to Stoke City in Saturday’s Championship fixture.
