Richard Keogh and his Derby County side lie in ninth place after beating Norwich City at the weekend.
Derby County defender Richard Keogh has been speaking to the Rams’ official website and has called for his side to maintain the same consistency they have been showing since new boss Steve McClaren retook the helm last month.

The comments came after a fourth straight Championship win at the weekend, this time a 1-0 defeat of Norwich City, to take Derby to ninth as they continued their ascent up the league table. The Rams took advantage of Norwich’s poor form and it was a strike from former Canaries midfielder Bradley Johnson which gave Derby the victory.
Keogh himself, however, can be thanked for this form due to the fact that he’s been part of a defence to have kept three clean sheets in their last four – and the 30-year-old Republic of Ireland international is keen to maintain this form.

He told the official Derby website: “Our pressing was good, tactically we were good with the ball, we looked a threat and this is just the start for us.
“We now need to maintain these standards because we have got another tough game against Wigan coming up.”
The game against Wigan Athletic should be a good opportunity for Derby to gain some more ground on their Championship rivals – the Latics lie in 23rd position in the table three points off safety with one win in five.
This is in stark contrast to the Rams who, along with the likes of Reading and Brighton and Hove Albion, are one of the form teams in the division.
