Derby County striker Jack Marriott has only played 13 minutes of Championship football so far.

The international break could help to transform Jack Marriott, who has had a difficult start at Derby County.
Derby brought in Marriott from Peterborough United last summer, but he has been held back by Frank Lampard so far.
Marriott has only started matches for Derby in the cup, and has only played 13 minutes in the Championship so far.
The 23-year-old effectively missed most of pre-season, as his move to Derby took so long to go through.
Peterborough did not want to risk Marriott getting injured, so he barely played in friendlies, and he has been playing catch up with his fitness ever since.

As a result the two week break from competitive action could turn out to be ideal for Marriott, as he can concentrate on spending it on the training ground.
Marriott now has an opportunity to get his fitness back to the same level as his teammates at Derby, and he could return to action as a far more integral player for the Rams, after the international break.
