Derby County could target Adam Idah in January with boss Paul Warne understood to be a big fan of the Norwich City striker.
The Rams have been finding goals from both David McGoldrick and James Collins this season.
The two experienced strikers have hit nine goals between them this season but could still be in the market for another hitman.
Derby would love to secure a top six finish in League One and more goals could help put them in contention for promotion.
Derby County could target Adam Idah
The Sun now report that Norwich City are considering loaning striker Adam Idah out during the January transfer window.
Idah’s progress has been hampered by injury and the Canaries want him to go out and get games that just won’t be available at Carrow Road.
Derby are thought to be a potential destination with boss Paul Warne allegedly a big fan of Idah.
It’s suggested that Warne wanted to sign Idah on loan for Rotherham United and could now rekindle that interest at Derby.
Idah, 21, has shown potential at Norwich but first-team action has been hard to come by.
Idah has played just six minutes of Championship action this season with a knee injury causing problems.
Fast, tall and dangerous in front of goal, Idah just needs playing time and Derby may be able to offer that.
The Rams do though have two other young attackers on loan in Lewis Dobbin and William Osula, so have to juggle those if they add Idah.
The Irish striker was even praised by Gary Neville earlier this year, as he admitted that he wouldn’t be comfortable playing against Idah.
League One defenders would probably feel a similar way should Idah join Derby, and Warne may well hope to finally land his man after failing to snap him up at Rotherham.
