The One Direction member congratulated the Rams on beating Arsenal in the U18s final.

Derby County celebrity fan Niall Horan has taken to Twitter to congratulate the club’s youth team on winning the Under-18 Premier League.
The Rams claimed the Premier League North title last weekend, setting up a tie against Southern Division champions Arsenal at Pride Park.
Derby fell a goal behind in the first five minutes to Bukayo Saka’s low strike but then stepped up a gear and went on to dominate proceedings.
Archie Brown equalised and then went on to claim a hat-trick while Morgan Whittaker grabbed a brace, rounding off the scoring after Saka had claimed a late second for the Gunners.
The 5-2 win was followed by Derby lifting the Under-18 Premier League title, and on top of that, the Rams will also be competing in next season’s UEFA Youth League.
Horan, a professional singer as part of currently-on-hiatus boyband One Direction and also solo, posted the following tweet:
Derby had finished top of their division on 51 points, winning 14 of their 22 league games this season, finishing ahead of Liverpool on goal difference at the top of the league.
As well as the U18s success, the East Midlanders senior team is just three games away from the Premier League, having sealed a Championship playoff place, and will face Leeds United in the semi-finals.
