Derby County have taken Mason Mount on loan from Chelsea for the season, and he has impressed at Pride Park.

Derby County loanee Mason Mount has told the Telegraph that his future lies at Chelsea.
Mount has impressed at Derby this season, and is already a fans’ favourite at Pride Park.
It always looked as if Derby would struggle to keep Mount beyond the end of this campaign, with his reputation growing by the game.
But Mount’s comments suggest that he has no intention of remaining with Frank Lampard’s side once his contract finishes.
“Playing in the first-team at Chelsea remains the ultimate goal,” Mount said. “When the time comes to go back I want to go there and secure my place.”

Mount has forced his way into the England squad through his performances with Derby.
The problem for the youngster is that Chelsea’s track record at developing their own talent has been poor.
A number of Chelsea prospects have had to leave the club to go on to fulfil their potential.
Mount could make his debut for England in the coming week, with Gareth Southgate’s side taking on Croatia and Spain.
