The Rams defender, 18, was linked with Burnley and Bournemouth in the January window.

Derby County ace Jayden Bogle has enjoyed a superb breakthrough season under Frank Lampard, making 36 starts in all competitions including 29 in the Championship (Transfermarkt).
The 18-year-old, who came through the ranks at Pride Park, has established himself as the Rams’ first-choice right-back and being a crucial member of an outfit pushing for the playoffs.
So impressive has Bogle’s form been that during the January transfer window he was linked with a number of clubs, including Burnley and Bournemouth, with a £8million fee being mooted, according to the Derby Telegraph.
Nothing came of the speculation and the defender, who penned a contract extension last year to take him until 2022 (Transfermarkt), is continuing to do his bit for a Derby side seventh in the table.
Speaking to the Derby Telegraph ahead of Wednesday night’s Championship home game against Stoke City, Bogle spoke out about those transfer rumours in detail, including a conversation he had with Lampard.
“I didn’t really pay much attention,” said the player. “My main focus was here with Derby and that’s where I want to be at the moment. I am just trying to give my all to the club.”

Bogle admitted that being a young player linked to a Premier League club will invariably trigger a particular train of thought but stressed that he “just tried to get it out of my head as quick as possible and focus on what I have to do at this club.”
Touching on his conversation with Lampard, he added: “We spoke briefly about it, but nothing major. Obviously I knew the decision that I was never going to leave, and I have committed to this club.”
