Derby County are currently in talks over the sale of Raul Albentosa.

According to reports from Marca, Derby County are currently in negotiations with Malaga over the permanent sale of Raul Albentosa.
Albentosa proved to be a major flop at Derby after joining the club from Eibar back in January 2015, and following only six months at Pride Park the defender was offloaded on loan to La Liga club Malaga last summer.
Albentosa enjoyed a wonderful time at Malaga though, playing a key role in the club’s eighth-place finish in La Liga and as a result it has been no surprise whatsoever in seeing the Spanish side planning to turn the loan deal into a permanent one.

A fee of around £930,000 had been pre-agreed between the two teams during the time of the loan deal and with Derby keen on selling Albentosa, it seemed like the completion of the transaction would be a fairly straightforward one.
Now according to reports from Marca, Malaga have entered talks with Derby over the transfer but a few complications have arisen in the prospective deal.
Malaga surprisingly do not seem too keen on forking out the aforementioned amount and are instead looking to land Albentosa for a reduced fee of around £620,000.
Derby understandably are insistent on Malaga sticking to the original agreement and it will be interesting to see what price the two teams eventually agree upon to push a deal over the line.
