Derby County boss is expected to strengthen his squad in January.

Derby manager Frank Lampard addressed the media today, ahead of his side’s clash with Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, and responded when asked whether he has specific targets in mind for the January transfer window, as quoted by Derbyshire Live.
The Rams have made a decent start to life under Lampard this season, and currently sit in sixth spot in the Championship table, just five points adrift of league leaders Norwich City.
Derby have lost just once in their last seven Championship outings, and the manner in which they have gone about their business from a footballing perspective this season has been mightily impressive.
Lampard addressed the media today ahead of his side’s clash with the Owls on Saturday, and admitted that he has already identified specific January transfer targets, as quoted by Derbyshire Live:

“Yes, and the targets can change. It is very fluid. From week to week you can change. It is a considered effort from myself and from the club from above. We do things together. In the summer we worked very well together and going into January I think it will be the same. If there are targets, it will be minimal, it won’t be lots. It will be targets I think can help the team and the squad.”
The former Chelsea and England star already has an incredibly strong squad of players at his disposal, and if he manages to bolster his ranks further still in January, Derby will surely have a great chance of earning promotion back to the Premier League.
