Derby County’s winless league run was extended to six matches at Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday.

A number of Derby County fans are calling for the departure of Steve McClaren after Tuesday’s defeat at Blackburn Rovers.
McClaren only returned to Pride Park as manager in October, replacing Nigel Pearson after 18 months away.
The former England boss fell short of promotion in each of his previous two campaigns at Derby, and despite briefly restoring hope of a late assault on the play-offs this time around, a six-game winless streak has left the Rams ten points adrift of the top six with only 12 games left to play.
While many Derby fans are willing to give McClaren the benefit of the doubt – with several questioning the quality of the squad he inherited from Pearson – others do not believe he is the man to take them up.

And as far as the latter group are concerned, one available boss would be ideal for the Rams.
Rowett, a former Derby defender, was sacked by Birmingham in December, with the now 14th-placed Blues only three points off third.
According to the Daily Record, the 42-year-old is on a four-man list of candidates to replace Mark Warburton at Glasgow Rangers.
