According to The Times, Derby have made a move for Rangers manager Gerrard.
The Championship club in England are reportedly making contingency plans should their current manager Frank Lampard leave for Chelsea.
The Times have reported that former Liverpool midfielder Gerrard has rejected the opportunity to speak to Derby and wants to stay at Rangers.
Rangers, though, have claimed that no approach has been made by any club, and that Gerrard remains committed to his role at the Gers, as reported in The Times.
Derby reached the Championship playoff final last season in what was Lampard’s first role as a first-team manager of any club.
The former England international midfielder has been superb for the Rams, and one suspects that Derby will not want to lose him this summer.
