Derby County are linked with the Aston Villa misfit, but fans don’t want him.
It might be fair to say that Derby County fans aren’t delighted with rumours linking them with Aston Villa’s Ross McCormack.
The 30-year-old, a £12 million signing from Fulham last summer, endured a horrendous first season at Villa Park, netting three goals in 20 Championship appearances before being sent on loan to Nottingham Forest in January, scoring once in seven games.

It is hard to believe that it is the same McCormack who, not too long ago, was a feared hitman in England’s second tier but now, for whatever reason, looks a shadow of his former self.
The Derby Telegraph reported this week that Derby have entered the race to sign the Aston Villa misfit, with Sunderland also in the reckoning for his signature.
But suffice to say that fans of the Rams aren’t in the least bit happy if Gary Rowett were to bring him to Pride Park this summer.
His career at Aston Villa looks all but over, after manager Steve Bruce omitted him from the club’s pre-season trip to Germany last week, but it remains to be seen where he ends up.
Aston Villa could and should lower their asking price if Bruce is having problems offloading the Scotland international.
