The Spaniard is now set to join Hull on a permanent transfer, where he will be keen to impress.
Derby will have to look elsewhere for other targets, with Gary Rowett known to be wanting to strengthen his squad.
However, Derby fans are not too disappointed about their side’s failure to capture Toral’s signature.
Toral has been sent on a series of loan moves in recent times, but has never been able to find a home.
The 22-year-old has represented the likes of Rangers, Birmingham City and Granada in recent seasons, but with limited success.
Derby have already brought in Tom Lawrence recently to improve their attack, but Rowett wants further additions before the close of the transfer window.
