Leeds United are reportedly stalling over their move for Derby’s Matej Vydra.

Derby County’s aim to cash in on 2017/18 Championship top scorer Matej Vydra is not proving so easy.
Leeds United have been frontrunners for the past fortnight but the deal has reportedly hit a snag over Vydra’s wage demands.
This is quite evidently a blow for Leeds, and it is not great for Derby either.
The Rams have not taken the decision to try to sell the forward lightly, doing so out of necessity, as it is the most practical way to comply with financial fair play regulations and bring their own players in.

Derby’s transfer business is being held up by their inabilty to shift Vydra off their books, and it could prove problematic for new manager Frank Lampard and his coaching staff.
At this point several Derby fans have come around to the idea that selling Vydra is a necessity, and view this latest development as a blow.
