Forsyth was restored to Derby County’s starting 11 against Sheffield Wednesday, after two games out.

Craig Forsyth was one of six changes made by Derby County manager Gary Rowett for Tuesday’s trip to Sheffield Wednesday.
But after a 2-0 defeat at Hillsborough, which saw its first Owls win in the league since Halloween, Forsyth’s chances of keeping his place are slim in the eyes of many Derby fans.
The Rams would have climbed back into the Championship’s automatic places with a win against struggling Wednesday, who had failed to win at all in the league since Boxing Day.
Less than 20 minutes in, however, the Owls went in front after Adam Reach’s diagonal ball caught out Forsyth on the Derby left.

Wednesday’s Jack Hunt was a grateful recipient, and calmly picked out the onrushing Lucas Joao, who side-footed confidently beyond Scott Carson in the Rams goal.
And while Joao’s second goal shortly after half-time had little to do with Forsyth, that hasn’t stopped the Scot being singled out on social media.
