Derby County striker Martyn Waghorn and former Rams player Craig Bryson could not help but laugh at Nottingham Forest falling out of the play offs last night.

Forest went into the final day looking set to finish comfortably inside the top six, but a stunning six-goal swing saw Swansea City move above them in the Championship table.

On a remarkable evening, Forest lost 4-1 to Stoke City, while Swansea beat Reading by the same scoreline.

And Waghorn and Bryson showed little sympathy for Derby’s main rivals on social media.

Forest’s defeat has caused great anger at the City Ground, with Sabri Lamouchi clearly crestfallen at full-time.

Derby, meanwhile, were able to win 3-1 on the final day against Birmingham City.

The Rams ended up finishing in 10th place in the Championship table – three places and six points behind Forest.
